HISTORY

Hymns for Worship was founded by a trained church musician, a music director, a Worship Coach who has a great wealth of experience and a man who has the passion for music, Matthew Kelvin Paye. In 2020, during the Corona Virus (Covid-19) Matthew thought about bridging the gap between the younger generation and the older generation when it comes to praise and worship. Growing up in a Baptist church and then adopting to the new contemporary praise and worship, Matthew decided to transform the congregational hymns to contemporary praise and worship to bridge the gap. “Hymns are fading away, and young people are not interested in singing hymns. There is a need to revive the hymns in a contemporary way that will draw generations to more worship. “Hymns for Worship” was then established and today, Hymns for Worship is a Registered Nonprofit Organization under the laws of Minnesota State and obtained a 501 (c) 3 Status under the Internal Revenue Service of the United States of America. Hymns for Worship now has extended it operations outside of the United States and has a branch in Monrovia, Liberia which includes a 100-voice choir.
